In the spirit of thanking our community and supporters and inviting participation in this restoration project, PEP IS OFFERED A DOWNTOWN FAMILY-ORIENTED CHRISTMAS EVENT in 2009. (The regular Candlelight Tour will return in 2010.) The Candle-Light Christmas Celebration offers four historic locations, open for your touring, with free admission. For a small fee our traditional horse-drawn carriage ride will tour the Historic District decorated for the holidays. We invite you to enjoy special holiday offerings and discounts at our downtown stores and restaurants, open until 8 pm for our event. Finally, to delight the children, Ole Kris Kringle will be at the Depot, and rides on the PocoLoco Miniature Christmas train will be offered as well. Children may also ride the carriages for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Look to the right side for a link to the flyer for this year's celebration.
